One day is enough to discover some of the most characteristic places in Castiglione della Pescaia. From the historic centre to the sea, the itinerary can be enjoyed at a relaxed pace, combining walks, panoramic views and time on the beach.<\/h2>\n

Morning in the medieval old town<\/h3>\n

The day can begin in the historic centre of Castiglione della Pescaia. Its narrow streets and stairways climb towards the upper part of the village, offering increasingly wide views over the town and the Maremma coastline.<\/p>\n

Walking through the old town allows you to discover stone buildings, small squares and quiet corners while gradually reaching the highest part of the village. The morning is an ideal time to explore this area before heading back down towards the centre and continuing the itinerary closer to the sea.<\/p>\n

From the historic centre to the harbour<\/h3>\n

TAfter visiting the medieval village, the walk can continue towards the lower part of Castiglione della Pescaia. Here the atmosphere changes as the historic streets give way to the town centre and the harbour.<\/p>\n

A walk around this area provides another perspective on the destination and is also a good opportunity to stop for lunch before continuing towards the coast. There is no need to rush. The advantage of a one-day itinerary is being able to combine a few selected places rather than trying to see everything.<\/p>\n

Afternoon by the sea at Rocchette<\/h3>\n

After lunch, the itinerary can continue towards Rocchette, just a short distance from Castiglione della Pescaia. The Rocchette beach<\/a> is surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation and is an ideal place to spend the afternoon by the sea.<\/p>\n

A few hours here are enough to relax, swim and enjoy the coastal landscape after exploring the town in the morning.<\/p>\n

Towards the end of the afternoon, there is no need to immediately plan another visit. Staying near the coast allows you to enjoy the changing light and the quieter atmosphere of the evening.<\/p>\n

Depending on the season and the day’s plans, you can take another walk along the beach or return towards Castiglione della Pescaia.
\nThe final hours of the day can therefore be left deliberately flexible, choosing between the seafront, the town centre and the Rocchette area.<\/p>\n

End the day between Castiglione and Rocchette<\/h3>\n

For those staying several days in the area, this itinerary can be the starting point for exploring the Maremma more extensively.
